Most people have been sold leather that was never meant to last. It looks good for a little while. Then it cracks, peels, splits, or gives up. That is not what leaves our shop.
Every Godbe piece starts with 100% full-grain, veg-tan leather. It is the good stuff: strong, honest, toolable, and full of natural grain, scars, marks, and character.
Then we put our hands on it.
We cut it.
Tool it.
Carve it.
Paint it.
Stitch it.
Finish it.
The price is not just the leather. It is the hide, the hours, the artwork, the tools, the patience, and the two people standing behind the piece when it leaves the shop.

Everything that leaves our shop is built entirely by the two of us. Because we are a two-person team, we refuse to rush the process, cut corners, or sacrifice quality just to pump out volume. Quality takes time, and right now, our book is 100% booked out.

Meet Corey and Dawn-Marie
Corey and Dawn-Marie Godbe are the creators behind Godbe Leather, working out of their home workshop in Ferron, Utah and traveling at events across the state.
Corey does the build.
After year as a crane operator, he knows strength, weight, structure, and what it means for something to hold up under pressure.
Dawn-Marie brings the art.
She has the eye, the hand, and the patience to turn leather into something with movement, shadow, personality, and story.
Together, they make the kind of leather pieces you notice from across the room and remember after you walk away.
Just two real people making leather work worth carrying.

That is why we still show up in person.
At vendor shows, you can meet us, handle the leather, look close at the tooling, and see what made it off the bench.
Some pieces hit the website. Some get claimed at shows. Some are gone before we ever get a chance to post them.
